I am an Artist and Maker based in the uk, living and working in Norwich. I create a wide range of works which include mixed media art pieces, block printed textiles and jewellery. My work is concerned with exploring what it means to be in my body through my daily creative practice and evolving process.
My style is organic, raw, and playful. It relies on spontaneous making in the moment with no fixed intention or outcome. My work evolves slowly and riffs on a range of elemental marks, shapes and symbols which are eternally enduring to me such as spots, circles, stripes and crosses. I weave together colours, patterns and textures across my range of media to create one of a kind pieces which are primitive and timeworn yet modern.
Inspiration comes from my creative practice itself which is intuitive in nature. I’m continually listening deeply to myself as I work for the signs and signals of where the work wants to evolve next. There is no beginning or ending to my work as such, more of an unfolding over time and through a playful exploration of my creative abilities and process. This is found by deeply resting into being in my body and working with the seasons and cycles of creative living and making.
This work is my way of navigating through my inner landscape and the complex and uncertain nature of simply being human. It’s a meditation on being in my body and a search for peacefulness through drawing, mark making and leaning into the unknown possibilities of making.
My studio is located close to the centre of Norwich and is a sanctuary for myself and my work. In this space I work on printed textiles, jewellery and drawing. Studio visits are welcomed throughout the year if you would like to view work or discuss a commission.
I take part in Norfolk Open Studios each year which happens at the end of May and beginning of June. Check out their website for more details.

I currently offer block printed textile workshops roughly 6 times per year. Groups are small - up to six people so there is plenty of time for me to work with everyone on a one to one basis. These workshops start with very simple drawing exercises and encourage people to create original and innovative block prints on linen from their own designs. Visit the products page of this website and click on ‘workshops’ in the menu to see forthcoming dates and images of past participants work.
Workshops can be tailored to your needs for a minimum of 4 people. Get in touch for more details.
