Keep it loose. Favourite chunky pre printed grid paper. Soft. A few brush strokes but nothing too precise. Uncertainty and a bringing together of colour palette, Lino block and paintbrush, gently marking off the time, the time it takes to make a dot, to paint a line. By hand.
