Finished, mixed media on salvaged notebook page

I was selling my work at an event many years ago when someone picked up a piece and exclaimed loudly that it wasn’t ‘finished’. How does one know when something is finished? The senses know the essential process to guide you there. When you really love it just as it is then it’s finished. That’s all.
