The native language scarves are a collection of 8 hand painted and block printed maps. The design process is improvised, and evolves over time, combining hand painted marks lines shapes spots dots with my family of much loved lino blocks and rubber stamps to form individual one-off pieces with a colourful and expressive pattern.
Scarf No. 4 is a map of symbols and shapes to aid with locating your inspiration in times when you’ve wondered where it went. It was here only yesterday, but now - who knows where? Wear this scarf for comfort, direction and protection. When you are overwhelmed by not knowing take it for a walk and look to it for answers because when we locate ourselves in our creativity we know whats next.

Each scarf is created with lightweight organic voile, cotton thread and printed / painted with non-toxic inks.
Care instructions: machine wash 30 °C, iron on cotton setting.
