The SOMETHING UNEXPECTED collection is a selection of works created through the confines of winter and are emerging now as we hurtle into this new spring. Like a seed pod softening into the darkness these pieces are longing to be seen in the light - glinting and outstanding. Eager to be worn, each piece is poised as an articulation of your thoughts, impulses and creative desires long harboured in the back of your mind.
These one of a kind mixed media earrings are comprised of sterling silver and painted copper. Each set is presented in a box covered with layers of marks, patterns and processes which evolve during my making process.
